The Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service Muhammad Babandede has resumed work after recovery and medical clearance.

In a statement signed by the Service public relations officer James Sunday during his break he receives briefs online and directs accordingly with much to do with respect to national assignments as the Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service saddled with the Control of Entry and Exit into and out of the country, enforcement of the Federal government directives with respect to the restriction order on International travels through the Airports, Closure of Land Borders.

He also appreciates the level of Compliance by International flight Carriers on the International Flights restrictions and Closure of Land Borders, as well as the Seaport Command Control as directed by government, while encouraging the NIS Operatives to keep the tempo high without compromising National Security and Safety regulations as stipulated by NCDC and WHO.

Babandede after initial testing positive to Covid-19, went on isolation and treatment in line with the NCDC directive and subsequent testing negative twice after the 14 days isolation, treatment before his discharge
