HOME FOR THE NEEDY FOUNDATION,  was established in 1992 by Solomon A. Folorunsho in Benin City, Nigeria in order to help the needy in the society like orphans, street children, children from broken homes or poor families, widows and internally displaced persons. Today, the body has provided home and succor to victims of forced migration and internally displaced persons from several parts of Nigeria, caring for more than 4,500 needy. Most of them are children and widows from the North East of Nigeria, who have lost their parents and their homes through the terror group Boko Haram.
