The Head of Ghana Immigration Service, Public Affairs Unit, Supt Michael Amoako-Attah is one of the guest speakers to deliver lecture at the virtual summit of the Journalists International Forum For Migration (JIFORM) on June 5, 2020 on zoom.
The veteran immigration officer will address JIFORM on migrants and border management and implications for the West African economy.

Supt Michael Amoako-Atta is the Head of Public Affairs of the Ghana Immigration Service.
He is a PR Practioner and has worked as an Immigration officer for the past 30 years and has varied experience in border security and Communication.
Between October 2010 and November, 2012, Supt Amoako-Atta served with the United Nations Mission in Liberia as an Immigration Advisor assisting in the restructuring of the then Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization of Liberia now the Liberia Immigration Service.
He rose through the ranks and has worked at various commands and border posts of the Ghana Immigration Service until getting to his current position.
He is a member of the Institute Of Public Relations, Ghana, (IPR) and also a member of the Ghana Journalists Association,(GJA)
His career philosophy is to use experiences gained in the line of duty to shape a better future.
